backwards and forwards; pt. 1

In three days I'll be flying home to stay three weeks. I've been traveling and living here in Japan for a combined total of eighteen months. it will be very interesting to return and be confronted by all the change and sameness both in my self and in the folks and places back home. What will it be like; I have no idea. I'll post more as it occurs and comes to me; this is an introduction to the next few weeks.

I want to also consider the gift giving phenomenon associated with the Christmas season, but I'm not in the mood to do so right now, so here's a card from yours truly (if you know me, you might receive this one! hooray!); Merry Christmas!!
