Was walking by the donut shop again the other day, and encountered this:
Note the time. That's 1 hour 40 minutes waiting time for donuts. It seems the line is becoming even longer as the months wear on. I learned new Japanese: ushi no mure. This applies easily to people in a coral, waiting for some sugary cud to munch. mooo.

New Japanese for me too, cheers!

And by the way, one minute forty seconds isn't that long a wait time.

It isn't actually, is it? I could imagine signs like that in Tokyo, too; constantly updating signs, predicting wait times to the second.
But this was long. Camping out, cobwebbed, long.
